Her songwriting is highly regarded as poetically positive heartfelt and uplifting. As a bandleader - her music is steeped in hard driving rhythmically charged blues, rock and funk vibes.

Some have likened her sound to Bonnie Raitt or Chrissie Hynde and her guitar playing to Clapton or Santana.

Teri Wilson & the Wave 

- is Teri’s new solo project band that started in 2017 with the purpose of showcasing her newest original songs that are in preparation for recording production.

During her time in the Seattle area, Teri has received a Best Band award as co-founder of the Red Hot Blues Sisters, and Best Guitar nomination from the Washington Blues Society as well as numerous nominations for jams and other contributions she has made to the PNW Blues scene. 

In 2016 , she released the single “Let Me Love You” produced by Curtis Salgado at Falcon Studios in Portland. (Wave Magnet Records ©2016) 3 more songs from that recording session are scheduled for Fall 2017 release.



West Coast Women’s 

Blues Revue 

After her 3rd tour of Europe, Teri founded WCWBR to feature female artists in 2010 with great success. This group has been performing at festivals, casinos, wineries and clubs touring Memphis, TN – Clarksdale, MS – Idaho, Montana and the West Coast.  

Teri currently produces and tours with this showcase which has a rotating cast of featured artists. Artists featured have included Lady A, Stacy Jones, Patti Allen, Josephine Howell, Polly O’Keary, Alice Stuart, Rae Gordon, Lisa Mann, Vicki Stevens and more.
